5308 install constant reboot during stage 2

Just thought I'd share my experience installing 5308 x86. During stage 2 of the install, the system reboots improperly over and over. I finally booted into safe mode and the installation finished properly.

Have you attempted upgrading that existing installation from safe mode to see if it corrects any issues in the installation? yeah, I only needed safe mode for stage 2 of the install... the installation finishes successfully after that and I can boot into vista just fine.
